Research Part 2 - Painting Company
Research Part 1 - Action Painters
Using a letter from an important person in this case used by Action Painters, is used on their website to help achieve more customers through past work with the mayor of Auckland. From this it gives me an idea I could use a similiar thing on a document im creating.

New Project
Doing a new project with a client. I have chosen to use my Dad as my client he is a painter and the name of his painting business is Able Decoraters. He is a sole proprietor business and works for himself.
Currently working on writing up a questionnairre so I can ask him what he wants and what he would want on them.
I'm thinking hes going to want a sort of poster thing with maybe a logo developed for him. I have talked to him about it but he has been busy so I haven't been able to use the questionnairre to get the answers I require from him.

Update - Final
Evaluation of Article:
Overall the finished product meets the requirements of the brief however, it does not have a picture of the client in the article due to her leaving school and me not been able to get one.
It meets the targeted audience of 17+ with the images used and the skills used in the article and the article printed with the language used makes it easy for 17+ audience to read and understand.
The background made for the article was made to draw attention to the text which sits on top of it। Nothing really takes attention of the text but rather draws the reader / viewer to the centre of the article to where the article is positioned for them to read it.

Update
Developed a new background for my article in photoshop using lens flare techniques and screen layering giving the effect of a lightning storm being effective in attention grabbing but you can still read the text over it. Thinking of redoing my banners because they are shit will be working on that today however did develop a range of backgrounds and still deciding on what one to use. Feel free to leave comments on my blog on which one you think is better :)

Big update
Was playing around with designs in InDesign (first time using the program) and came up with the idea that the lower images I had created and posted in my previous blog was not very good with the colour scheme of the article. So I remade the top one and made the second one which will be shown below this post:

Update
Started finishing the article in publisher with the article actually typed up still need to make the bottom image for it the image uploaded on the previous post is the header image which yet still needs a picture of the client put onto it along with her name.
The bottom image is going to be pretty much the same but the opposite away around to sort of link them both together.
(Also found out how to unlock tables in word today)

· Sketch’s – To show to the client to show feed back on your ideas
· Design – Design it in photo shop.
· Evaluate – Make sure it fits the brief and show it too the client to make sure they are happy with the end product.
